Ward Cunningham

I've had "systems thinking" explained to me numerous times by always incorrectly describing the home-heating thermostat as a bang-bang controller. I turned quickly to page 85 to see if Nancy made the same mistake and I was not surprised.

I learned to appreciate Honeywell's sophistication over my summer in the trades installing air conditioners. (I also learned to bend conduit while standing on a step-ladder and how to distinguish 110 from 220 by slapping the leads.) I will explain only the first of these nuggets of know-how.

I created this site to elaborate on each node I created in a system diagram. I start with an Inventory so that I can work through the list of definitions systematically.
